What brought you to CrossFit in the first place?

I got burned out in college playing softball. After a few years off, I was ready to get back at it and CrossFit seemed like the best place to do it.

What was your first impression & How has that changed?

I honestly thought I would rebound much faster than I did since I had an athletic background. I’ve been doing CrossFit for 3 years and hands down the biggest challenge is the mental aspect of Crossfit.

What was your first “bright spot”(PR or major accomplishment)?

Double Unders!!! A week ago I strung together 10 DUs twice! I started working on them a year ago and recently got serious and started practicing the skill on a regular basis.  It was a really great feeling when my fitness and the technical skill finally came together at the same time.

What are you working on now?

Mastering DUs. I’m going for 100 unbroken and then I’ll move on to pull-ups.

What’s your favorite Seminole CrossFit memory?

Competing against my friends and working out with people I like. I love being able to come to a place where if I’m feeling strong and feisty I have someone to work hard with and if I’m not feeling it that day there is no judgement or pressure to perform.
